Veeraghattam Mission
In the wake of centenary of the parish, mission work was started in the state of Andhra
Pradesh. The parish supports the Educational and hostel facilities of poor children from the tribal villages of Srikakukalam. Evangelists work in villages. They conduct Gospel meetings in villages, prayer meetings in houses Sunday school, Bible classes and visit the sick. The missionary achen send reports of the activities. The parish members visit the mission fields once in two years. The parishioners generously support the mission activities through sponsoring children donations and mission Box collection.
Khariyar Road Mission
The parish supports the mission activities of the Niranam-Maramon Diocese in villages of Orissa.
Alcoholic Anonymous (A.A) meeting
De-addiction programme is an extension activity of the parish. On every Saturday at 7 pm the A.A. group members meet together in houses. They share their experience, strengthen each other and rededicate themselves in the fight against Alcoholism. Nearly 100 people in and around Niranam have associated with the activities of Niranam A.A unit during the past 10 years. Alcoholics are send for de-addiction treatment at Mochana Kottayam with the support of well wishers of the parish. Nearly 25 members meet regularly in the meetings. Leaders from Mochana Kottayam attend important A.A meetings and give guidance. Rev. George Alexander give leadership to the programmes.
Social and welfare Project
The parish has started a social project in the Maniparampil plot owned by the parish. The project envisages activities activities such as de-addiction centre, counseling classes, prayer meetings, medical clinic, Pakalveedu etc.
In addition to the above the parish provides financial help to the needy in and outside the parish through interests received from several endowments instituted by the parish members. The financial support is given for education of poor children, marriage help, medical aid, building house, renovation etc.
